| Hibernian FC this week settled
their long-running compensation dispute with ex-manager Frank Sauzee. Fans'
favourite Frank proved to be absolutely honking vis-a-vis football management and was
shown the door last season.
Since then Hibs bosses claim the club has been the subject of increasingly
worrying incidents, with Franks agent Pete Postlethwaite turning up and talking in a
Pakistani accent. Or perhaps not.
"The parallels to noir hit The Usual Suspects were just becoming too
apparent" a clubspokesmcguffin told the JT, |
"When that Benicio del Toro
bloke also turned up and no-one could understand a bloody word he said we knew it was time
to settle. Weve all got families you know. Although that encounter might never have
really happened " A spokesreader for the JTs legions of fan
objected strongly to the whole tone of the current gag: "To base the whole premise on
the phonetic similarity between "Sauzee" and the name of Spaceys character
in the movie is just lame. Or perhaps it's brilliant, who really knows?"
The spokesreader attempted to corner the editor of the JT to remonstrate but,
"like that, he was gone." Or was he? |
