| As the political
world reeled this week at the news of Alastair Campbells resignation as chief Blair
spin doctor, the editor of the JT welcomed the shock news. "It's not often that we
here at The JT have a plausible excuse for brazenly re-cycling crusty old gags, but
thankfully Campbells resignation has afforded us a scintilla of justification."
Pausing only to cough, the editor of the JT blew the dust of an archived gag and stuck
it in the newest edition of the JT saying : "Should we read Campbells memoirs
when they first come out or wait for the condensed version? Campbell, you see. Like the
soup, condensed, Oh please yourselves" |
