| "Just wait ‘til I get
you two home." That was the threat issued to the McGregor boys, by Dad, after sibling
rivalry spoiled an otherwise pleasant trip from Lossiemouth. Younger brother and
international superluvvie Ewan McGregor rode in the
back of his brother Colin's Tornado fighter jet as it roared skywards. Flt Lt McGregor
told the JT: "He’s just a spoilt brat, I hate him and I’m telling
Mum." Apparently the overwrought actor type "totally spoiled things" by:
- Complaining that it wasn’t fair, why couldn’t he sit in the front?
- Endangering the safety of the aircraft by randomly pressing buttons and making peeyow,
peeyow noises.

- Moving his seat back and forth and banging into his brother’s back when he was
making a difficult turn.
- Constantly whiningly asking "are we there yet?"
Later, the apron press conference was disrupted as Ewan
deliberately bumped into his older brother sparking off a pushing match that degenerated
into an ill-tempered wrestling bout on the runway.
Separating the battling brothers, Mr McGregor senior warned
them that they would be for it just as soon as they got home. In the face of Ewan’s
protestations, Mr McGregor, at the end of his tether, snapped "Listen
Ewan,you’re not Obi bloody Wan buggery Kenobi, you’re just a very naughty
boy." |
