| In what it is being widely seen
as a world first, the editor of the JT found himself in agreement with Catholic bishops
this week. The shock news came following reports that 25 kids are being held as detainees
at the Dungavel asylum seekers jail in Strathaven, Lanarkshire. Senior figures in the
Church have condemned the illegal incarceration and called for the government to release
these kids immediately.
Hopelessly conflicted by agreeing 100% with the attractively costumed clerics the JT
editor is planning to go for a bit of a lie down in a darkened room. |
He told himself: "The Church
has provided a constant stream of material suitable for being manipulated into
ill-mannered secular liberal style so-called gags. I call upon The Church to desist
immediately with making sense and go back to doing what it does best: issuing barkingly
reactionary social edicts."
The editor has promised to rise from his tangled bed of confusion to get to a pineapple
on Sunday to sign the petition protesting the jailing of innocent children.* |
