He’s Back! And this time he’s bringing his dug!
"Andy Murray and Greg Rusedski will clash in a Scotland versus England challenge in Aberdeen in November…Joining Murray in the Scotland line-up will be his older brother Jamie..."
BBC Sport Online 12th October, 2005.

As Scotland’s brightest (and, let's face it, only) rising tennis star prepares to square off against the white clad Forces of Darkness (Tennis Division), Andy Murray revealed exclusively to The JT that not only will his older brother Jamie be called to the royal blue colours but other family members will also help out.

Apart from his ubiquitous mum, on hand to take dirt off his face with a spit and wipe while Andy says "Muum, stop it! People are

watching!", Andy confirmed that Hamish, the family labrador, will also support our brave boys in their quest to stuff the Devil Spawn Of Satan.

Hamish refuses to give
Rusedski his ball back.

In an unusual move, Hamish will patrol Andy’s side of the court , ready to neutralise kid-on Canuck Rusedski’s ferocious serve, by jumping up, grabbing the ball in mid-air and then charging round the court like a daftie before dropping the ball at Andy’s feet while wagging his tail furiously.

Looking up momentarily from adjusting his iPod, Andy told The JT : "There’s nothing specific in the rules of The Lawn Tennis Association that excludes a well-loved family pet from playing fetch while a game in progress. Not that I’ve actually looked…"

The move comes in the week when Andy told the world’s media that he would be supporting England’s soccer team in the up-coming World Cup, before uncrossing his fingers and sniggering.

It is thought that Andy’s Grannie will be brought into play as well, loudly offering Greg a cup of tea just as he faces Andy’s serve.

Inside: Rusedski’s Dad’s Ukrainian you know. So he could have elected to play for The Ukraine. But, Oh no. He had to play for England didn’t he?
