cleric Archbishop Keith No Brain rounded off a record month for pissing people off by
demanding that muslims apologise for the attacks of 9/11 and 7/7. Applying that elegant
Jesuit logic that makes sense until you think about it, the leader of the Catholic Church
in Scotland argued that muslims should apologise just like The Pope has subsequently
apologised for making anti-Islamic remarks. Try to work that one out. You can’t can

Anyway, it is
thought that the perfectly sane Cardinal is just warming up. Buddhism is likely to be next
in the firing line with a speech entitled: "Buddha - what a fat bastard". A
closely argued critique of Hinduism is to follow to include the observation that Hindu
deities have "far too many arms". Encouraged
by a Scottish media that compliantly publishes the Cardinal’s ravings, it is unlikely
that No Brain will stop after giving minority religious groups a doing. |
Already, top diocese
boffins are working on a new position paper, provisionally entitled : "Ginger-haired
people - just what is their secret agenda?" to be closely followed by :
"Everyone who’s not a Catholic is looking at me funny." Contacted by The
JT for an amusing quote, a spokescleric for the Diocese demurred, saying:
"Disrespectful rags like The JT exist only to bring the whole idea of religion into
disrepute and we’ve got that angle covered by ourselves thanks very much." |
