Secretary's stated aim to get tough with bogus asylum seekers, the Immigration Authorities
raided Tommy Sheridan's flat at dawn today and bundled the bewildered MSP on to a flight
at Glasgow airport. Confirming only that
the MSP had been sent "somewhere foreign" a spokesman for the immigration
authorities explained that the expulsion brought to a close a long investigation of
Sheridan's ethnicity.
"We've suspected for a long time that Mr
Sheridan might be from somewhere, you know, abroad. You've only got to look at him,"
the spokesman went on, |
"He's not peely
wally enough to be Scottish, it was clear to us that he was in fact a bogus asylum seeker
or something." When it was pointed out
by a reporter that the MSP was a well known sunbed user the spokesman looked perplexed and
asked, "Whit?"
It is not yet clear if this new policy of
deporting people for "looking funny" will be extended to other politicians,
although when pressed the spokesman did concede that Robin Cook was a dead ringer for one
of those Klingons off Star Trek. |
